Two Scents’ Worth

It’s a pleasure to introduce Brookfield resident Sue Kelley’s Two Scents, on behalf of the Animal Welfare Society (AWS) of New Milford, to our growing family of community bloggers.

Sue, a board member and longtime volunteer, wanted to get the word out about what this wonderful not-for-profit organization does, share its stories and let the communities it serves know of its needs. What she pitched as an idea for an occasional column became a regular spot for AWS on the Web sites of The Housatonic Times and The Litchfield County Times.

In her initial entry, she talked about the Valentine’s Cat Open House, an annual event she holds dear. Her new one describes the “happy dance” that pet owners may already know and love and, frankly, others are missing!

As readers of my blog know, I’m one of the former.
